Taboo are very proud of their achievement in making it to the live semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent. They have expressed it as being one of the best and memorable things they have ever done to date! Britain’s Got Talent was a great experience!

Judges comments were,

Piers Morgan: I thought that was a different league altogether. Really thought out routine, loved the outfits and the choreography. Great loved it!

Amanda Holden:It was really animated, really colorful. I thought you did really well.

Simon Cowell:I think tonight the whole lollipop thing was totally mad but I also thought it was totally brilliant.

Hi Kirsten,

Anna and I wanted to say a big thank you to you and the children – Taboo was fantastic and we really appreciate their attitude and enthusiasm on the day – we realise it was jam packed and they had to do a lot of running up and down to get changed and head straight back out to perform. They really pulled in the crowds and helped us have a successful launch for the Healthy Passport Club.

We’re really proud to have Taboo as health heroes for the passport club and look forward to working with you all again soon.

Many thanks,

“I first saw The Groves work at The Kent Dance Challenge a few years back and was very impressed with the choreography. Your name popped up a few other times and then I noticed a piece about you in Dancing In Kent”

“Just wanted to say how fantastic the dancers were at the fashion show on Thursday night. They behaved like true professionals and everyone said how well they performed.
Even when they were kept hanging around backstage whilst we made arrangements for them to continue dancing on the Walk, they did not complain and were very patient!”

“Kirsten, what can I say.......the young people were excellent and a true credit to you..  I will be sending a letter of thanks, but you know how things get - still dealing with the press today!!  I cannot say how grateful I am for your support for this event as without the likes of yourself it just would not happen.  Please pass my thanks and gratitude to all the young people as I think they were just great and a true credit to your hard work”

“On the 18th October we had a fabulous evening and raised £1600 for the Ben Johnson Forget me not Fund. We would not have been able to of had such a great evening without the spectacular performance your dancers provided for us. You Kirsten along with your colleagues should be proud of yourselves for all the hard work and effort that you put into transforming these kids into talented young dancers; you have done an amazing job”

Sharon Berry

I just want to say from the bottom of my heart that the girls have both really enjoyed their dancing.  They love Kirsten in particular and Katie cried when we explained she wouldn't be able to keep dancing and just kept saying "but I won't see Kirsten again".  Thank you so much for teaching my girls and looking after them.  Every dealing with you has been a pleasure and every show has been wonderful.  I know that they will both cherish their dancing memories.

Just wanted to say a huge Thank You for being one of our judges on
Saturday, we really appreciate your time and professional input which
gave Dancin' Feat the credibility it deserved. I hope you enjoyed the
day as much as we did. Also a big Well Done to Taboo who were fantastic!

Many Thanks
Travis & Denise

D2X (Dance 2 Xpress) would like to thank you for taking part in D2X - THE SHOW PART 2. Everyone played their part in making this show a success. D2X is truly grateful and look forward to working with you in the future.

The show artistically was a fantastic success, and for that I think it fair to say we owe you and the Taboo dancers a great debt of gratitude. Thank you again for your support!

£500 given to local dance troop

The second recipients were Taboo – a dance troupe from Gravesend. Members of the group are best known for their appearance on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent show where they made it through to the semi-finals. They were presented with their cheque for £500 by Chief Inspector Peter Ayling.

Chief Inspector Painter said: 'The charities and community groups we help through the Property Fund tend to be smaller and local – they don’t have a large national profile and struggle more for support. These donations are a great way to recognise the valuable contribution they make.'

“Kent Dance Champions 2006”

Taboo Dance Company was the next troupe to perform and stunned audience and judges alike with their perfect, disciplined timing and striking choreography. It was no surprise that they walked away with so many awards with just one entry in each category. “Remix” won 1st place in the 13 and under category and “Taboo” not only won theirs but also the “Choreography Award”. The evening ended with Taboo Dance Company being awarded the title of “Kent Dance Champions 2006” with a prize of £100.
